K9s for Warriors Starts the New Year with a New Property

On January 31st, K9s For Warriors will hold a dedication ceremony for its brand new training facility, the Gold Family Campus. Named after its previous owners, it was donated to K9s For Warriors last year and is located near Gainesville, about two hours from the organization’s headquarters in Ponte Vedra, FL. The campus is beautifully nestled within 67 acres that contain a stocked lake, pecan orchard, and a 9-bedroom, 7-bath house which will be the training and living facility for the warriors assigned there.

“The Gold Family Campus is a monumental asset to the K9s program that will enable us to quickly and efficiently reach our goals to save more lives in 2018,” said Rory Diamond, K9s For Warriors CEO. “The small town setting of the property is perfect to give our warriors peace as they heal. This campus seems like it was meant for K9s For Warriors.”

The dedication ceremony will partly be led by local ABC affiliate First Coast News’ Jeannie Blaylock, a veteran anchor and passionate K9s For Warriors advocate. Attendees can expect to learn about and tour the campus before it opens to host all-female classes.
